Who runs this thing?
I (Jon Huntley) am an economist who has worked for the Congressional Budget Office and currently works for the Penn Wharton Budget Model. In spite of having two employers with the word "budget" in their names, I'm less familiar with actual budgets and more familiar with estimating the effects of the budget on the economy. I have written and presented on infrastructure investment. Nothing on this website reflects the opinions of my employers, past or present. My personal research is on the effects that retirement and tax-deferred / retirement accounts have on household consumption and savings decisions. I've lived in Arlington since 2006, the first few years in Crystal City and the latter in Clarendon.
